Wedding at Moot House in Harlow, Essex
A Local Essex Wedding at a Local Venue with a Local Couple shot by a Local Photographer
On a very sunny Saturday afternoon in Harlow in Essex, I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Tee & Chelsie at Moot House.
Being a Harlow resident myself, it was pleasure to photograph at such a local venue.
The wedding itself was a very small, intimate affair with around 30 guests for the ceremony which was all over in around 30 minutes.
The ceremony itself went well. The only drama being the water jug on the table getting knocked over after the register had been signed. Luckily nothing got soaked!
This is one of my favourite photographs of the day. Nothing sums up a happy wedding day than the smile on the brides face once they have been pronounced as ‘Man & Wife’.
We were able to use the grounds of Moot House for photographs and make the most of the glorious Summer weather.
Photographing the couple next to their wedding car, a classic gold coloured Rolls Royce, was an absolute must.
As the ceremony was early in the afternoon, the Reception wasn’t until much later. I rejoined the happy couple at the lovely Indian Restaurant, Raj Lodge, in Old Harlow for some more informal group photographs as well as the all important cake cutting.
I can’t resist capturing candid images during the wedding day. Here a young guest takes some photographs of her own during the Wedding Reception meal.
The restaurant is a favourite eatery of the bridge and groom, and there was plenty of food and drink to go around.
The wedding cake was made by a friend of the couple and was very well received. This photograph is taken in my own signature ‘cake cutting’ style, which adds an artistic feel to the photograph.
As with every wedding, it was a pleasure to be there to photograph the couples’ special day and Im happy to say they were very happy with the final photographs
